This is where you can come to see winners of contests and draws, solutions to brain teasers and other fun activities!

BRAINTEASER 1: A man was in his front yard mowing grass when his attractive female neighbor came out of the house and went straight to the mailbox. She opened it then slammed it shut and stormed back in the house. A little later she came out of her house again went to the mail box and again, opened it, slammed it shut again. Angrily, back into the house she went.

As the man was getting ready to edge the lawn, here she came out again, marched to the mail box, opened it and then slammed it closed harder than ever.

Puzzled by her actions the man asked her, "Is something wrong?" To which she replied, "There certainly is!" What did she say?

SOLUTION: My stupid computer keeps saying, "YOU'VE GOT MAIL!"

BRAINTEASER 2: If 2 hours ago it was as long after one o'clock in the afternoon as it was before one o'clock in the morning. What time would it be now?

SOLUTION: Nine o'clock. Since there are 12 hours between the 2 times, and half of that time is six, then the halfway mark would have to be 7 o'clock. If it were 7 o'clock, two hours ago, the time would now be nine o'clock.

BRAINTEASER 3: How would you rearrange the letters in the words "New Door" to make one word?

SOLUTION: one word

BRAINTEASER 4: A man left a legacy of $10,000 to three relatives and their wives. Together, the wives received $3960. June received $100 more than Camille, and Martha received $100 more than June. Jack Smith was given just as much as his wife, Horace Saunders got half as much again as his wife, and Terry Connors received twice as much as his wife. Which wife belongs to which husband?

SOLUTION: As it is evident that Camille, June and Martha received respectively $1220, $1320 and $1420, making together the $3960 left to the three wives, if Jack Smith receives as much as his wife Camille, $1220; Horace Saunders half as much again as his wife June, $1980; and Terry Connors twice as much as his wife Martha, $2840, then we have correctly paired the married couples and accounted for exactly $10,000.
