Cyclists are welcome aboard the West Coast Express!

There are unsecured bike racks and rental lockers available at stations, or for $1.00 per day/$17 for a month, you may bring your bike onboard. Monthly and quarterly passes are purchased through Customer Service. Each car has tie-downs for two bikes. If one car is full you may be asked to move to another location where a tie-down is available.

Once your bike is tied down, feel free to take a seat. There is a seat adjacent to the tie-downs, which lets you keep an eye on your bike while you travel.

Fare Comment

As with the rest of the West Coast Express service, the fare system is barrier-free. Customers are required to have a valid ticket with them at all times once they enter the fare-paid zones. You may be asked at any time to show your ticket to members of our staff. Passengers and bicycles without a valid ticket are subject to fines and suspension of ridership privileges.

Rules of the Rails

  • West Coast Express staff may require cyclists to relocate or board an alternate train.

  • Bicycles must not be ridden on the trains, the platforms, in the stations or at bus loops.

  • Bicycles must be clean and have no projections that might damage the train or injure other passengers.

West Coast Express reserves the right to limit the number of bicycles traveling together and it is solely at our discretion to limit any trailers or attachments.
