Note: You must purchase a one-way ticket (Waterfront-Coquitlam Central) from the ticket vending machines at Waterfront Station prior to boarding the West Coast Express train. This ticket is valid as a transfer onto the bus and SkyTrain for 3 hours from time of purchase. Tickets are not sold on the train.

Your excursion starts in downtown Vancouver at the historic waterfront CP station (The Station) where you'll board Vancouver's sleek commuter rail service, West Coast Express. Travel in air-conditioned comfort in our bi-level passenger cars. Sip a fresh-brewed coffee from the onboard cappuccino bar and savour the views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.

First stop: Coquitlam
Station Name: Coquitlam Central
Options: depending on the time you have available:
- Transfer to a 97 B-line bus at Coquitlam Central Station to Lougheed Town Centre Station. Travel time: approx. 15 minutes
- Transfer to bus #169 Coquitlam Station/Braid Station. Travel by bus through historic Sapperton and New Westminster, western Canada's oldest city, at the edge of the mighty Fraser River.
Travel time: approx. 35 minutes
Buses depart at 15 minute and 30 minute intervals, in conjunction with West Coast Express service in the afternoon.
Second Stop: New Westminster or Burnaby
Station Name: Braid Station or Lougheed Town Centre Station
- Transfer to SkyTrain; destination westbound to Waterfront.
Your second train trip of the day is on a whole different track. Travel back to your starting point via SkyTrain, our automated light rail system. Check TransLink's website for route options.
Travel time: approx. 43 minutes.
SkyTrain departures are every 5 minutes.
